The Ballerina trailer is live. This is the Len Wiseman-directed movie that is from the world of John Wick set during the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum.
Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, Lance Reddick, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Norman Reedus, with Ian McShane and Keanu Reeves are in the cast with Ana de Armas as the title character.
According to the press notes, the film follows Eve Macarro (Ana de Armas) who is beginning her training in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma. Shay Hatten wrote the screenplay for the film with Len Wiseman directing.
This film has been in the works, as far as I can tell, since 2019, ‘Chapter 3‘ being released that very year. It’s been a little while in the making and some initial footage was premiered at CinemaCon back in 2024. A release was set for that June but was pushed back to this summer.
